Magic

This ink forms not just the shape of such creatures and their world. But a kind of language of an impositioned reality. For much of what is considered to be magic to others, is just another form of writing to them, and those capable of spellscribing with such inks. By one account it "is like writing in the margins of the laws of the universe".

Casting and Writing

When 'casting', ink would flow out of themselves - their own body acting as the inkwell of an impossibly grand reservoir within. Such writings can be scrawled on surfaces, but certainly not limited to. In particularly rapid actions, unsuitable environments, lack of a suitable medium, or a personal preference to such - these magicks could be drawn in the air. Seemingly like it too hangs, smeared upon imperceptible surfaces. In colour, it is often taking after the hues and tones of the oceans of black ink the creatures emerge from. However, once "active" either upon completion or intent, it takes on a burning luminescence of bright fell green. Such compositions of this casting style takes on a flowing serif-like runic form, familiar with the tendrils of the ink of home. Observed, these runes would shift and twist; Betraying its surface-level appearances. Alluding to the depth and multitudes of complexities that writing such magicks would involve - that is capable in deviating mundane law of realities. It would be difficult to capture the complexities of such writing style, but at best it could be seen as such:

Entity Agnostic Casting

Should someone obtain such inks (with a limitation upon volume of ink), they too could conduct (with sufficient understanding) these aberrant magicks. To spellscribe in such a manner is as to speak and write a language, to do so with any hopes of proficiency - one must intuit the nadir of such scripts. A rather burdensome undertaking upon finite minds. The cost of which is difficult to determine relative upon the edict reproduced.
